Pixel Fractional Skin Resurfacing
The Newest Breakthrough in Skin Rejuvenation
We are pleased to announce the arrival of the latest technology in skin rejuvenation - Pixel Fractional Skin Resurfacing and Harmony Skin Tightening. We all age, yet none of us want our skin to show the signs of aging.

Traditional laser resurfacing provides excellent skin rejuvenation but requires significant downtime.
Pixel fractional resurfacing provides firming of the skin and improves skin texture and tone, sun damage, wrinkles and acne scars with minimal downtime.
|
Pixel fractional resurfacing helps to restore a more youthful appearance. Unlike traditional laser resurfacing, which can only be done on the face, Pixel fractional resurfacing can be done on other areas such as the neck, chest, arms and hands.
How Does Pixel Works?
|
Pixel skin resurfacing creates tiny, individual, micro thermal treatment zones separated from each other by zones of untreated skin in a grid-like pattern.
This allows the removal of the top layer of the skin (epidermis) and part of the second layer (dermis) in tiny columns without causing an open wound.

During healing, new collagen and elastic tissue are produced. Although 5 treatments are recommended for optimal results, improvement is seen after the first treatment.
Most individuals undergoing Pixel fractional resurfacing experience a brief sunburn-like sensation, brief redness, and occasionally, slight swelling. The treated area feels rough to the touch but becomes smooth within 7-8 days after treatment. Treatments are done at 4 week intervals.

Dr. Cabanellas recommends that if you really want to achieve a natural and harmonious look, you should treat both the face and the neck at the same time.
She usually analyzes your facial structure before determining which is the best way to create a new, or return your natural appearance.

The face is like a puzzle composed by three different areas. The top area or upper face covers your forehead and eyes, the mid face area which covers everything below your eyes and above your mouth including the cheeks, and the nose including the folds and lines, and finally the lower face area that covers the mouth, lips, chin including marionette lines , and the jaw line. Those areas should all be harmonious, smooth, and uniform in order to create a younger look.
